Greetings, prospective Volunteers!
We're thrilled that you're interested in becoming an AMIGOS Volunteer for 2012. To apply, you must be 16 years old by Sept 1, 2012, and have completed 10th grade and two years of Spanish language training (or equivalent) by Summer 2012.
Below you'll find the 4 steps it takes to become an AMIGOS Volunteer with the Washington, DC Chapter:
1. Come with your parents to a Family
Information Session on Sunday, October 2 @ 3:00- 5:00,
Sunday, October 16 @ 1:00 - 3:00 or Sunday, October 23 @
12:00-5:00pm.
*All information sessions will be held at the Oyster School located at: 2801 Calvert St NW Washington, DC 20008 ( view on map)
2. Complete a DC Chapter Preliminary Application. This brief form (available here as a Word document) and a $25 non-refundable application fee can be submitted at the Orientation Meeting or mailed to Susan Davis at 1202 Hemlock St. NW, Washington, DC 20012.
2. Attend one of the Applicant and Parent Interview Days on either October 16 @ 3:00 - 5:00, or October 23 @ 12:00 - 5:00. *The interview sessions will also be held at Oyster School.
3. Complete the second and final application online.
